Positieve ervaring: A really nice gym! Sadly not with the same gympark as in the Amstelstraat but still cool. What is really uncomfortable only in this unit that they cool down too much the temperature upstairs and easy to get sick after u sweat. Can be nice if they change as more ppl has the same problem and already reported it.

Positieve ervaring: Good basic fit! Nice and quiet and helpful people. Devices are also fine.

Fantastische ervaring: Nice neat gym fine kinesis devices. Little space with freeweights, but that's not a problem since not many people are allowed in at this time. Update: (something has changed since then, 2 free weights areas have been added and the cardio has moved down, a lot of improvement since then, so they do use some older technogym dumbbells that I personally don't like very much, the handles can turn.)

Positieve ervaring: Location is great Enough parking spaces open 24/7 Dumbells go up to 60kg Appliances/devices function properly. Clean and tidy (between 07:00 and 22:30) Usually after 1 a.m. a creepy old woman (type: KAREN) comes and occupies 3 to 6 devices.

Positieve ervaring: I really empathise with the regulars who have seen a massive change at their gym. I used to go to the now BasicFit in the Amstelstraat, (city centre), which was previously HealthCity and before that Fitness First. During the Fitness First era, it was absolutely a premium club: The best workout classes, equipment, sauna, changing rooms and facilities. You knew the staff, they knew you and everyone was pleasant and helpful at all times, but the switch from Fitness First to HealthCity brought about the first downgrade back in 2013 and the price remained relatively the same. Then the second downgrade happened around 2015 when BasicFit took over. I have become accustomed to just making the most out of what's left and I have to say for a first visit, this gym is at least the cleanest and one of the most well equipped larger gyms in Amsterdam/Badhoevedorp with free parking. I have yet to check out virtual classes and changing room areas, so I will rate 4 stars for now...

Fantastische ervaring: At night I have horribly nice workouts. I don't know if I want to go to the other Basics to train.

Positieve ervaring: Busy, other fitness equipment, plenty of parking space and friendly staff.

Fantastische ervaring: People who give this basic 1 star do not know what the world looks like outside their neat village. This basic fit is the cleanest and most spacious in Amsterdam and deserves 5 stars.

Fantastische ervaring: Good gym, nice that it's open 24/7, weights are upstairs. Changing rooms are closed at night though.
