Positieve ervaring: Kom al een tijdje bij deze sportschool maar met de nieuwe douches slaan ze de plank echt volledig mis. Ze gaan van echt top regendouches naar van die douches die je ziet bij een voetbalclub die sinds 1980 niet verbouwd heeft met een sensor zodat hij na 15 seconden weer uitgaat. Ik weet niet wie dit bedacht heeft maar mag toch hopen dat dit puur tijdelijk is. Om uberhaupt te kunnen douchen moet je tegen de muur aanstaan omdat het water niet verder dan 20 centimeter van de muur af komt. Echt bizar dat dit erin gezet is bij een verder hele fijne sportschool. Zonde.

Negatieve ervaring: I expected a premium experience at Red Label Roelof Hartplein, but was very disappointed. There is no respect culture: bars, benches and plates are left scattered everywhere, members sit or lie on equipment without training, and staff do little to enforce basic etiquette. Cleanliness is also poor, with dust on the floor and wet corridors left uncleaned. Equipment is badly organized, some already rusting, and the sauna swimwear policy is unhygienic. For a club positioned as "premium," the standards here are far too low.

Plenty of free weights, deadlift stations, squat racks, etc. Besides the clean interior, everyone was so considerate racking their weights and putting everything back in place. Negatieve ervaring: Red Label is misschien wel de grootste scam van sportscholen in Nederland. Niets maar dan ook helemaal niets van de 'beloften' waar Red Label voor zou staan wordt waargemaakt. Ledenstop is er niet of dusdanig hoog dat het alsnog even druk is als bij een SportCity waar een abonnement 30 euro kost. Ik vraag me af of er überhaupt ooit wordt schoongemaakt, ik heb het in ieder nog nooit zien gebeuren.

Negatieve ervaring: I signed up for this gym mainly because of the wellness area, especially the infrared sauna. Nobody mentioned that it would be out of order for a full month!!!there was no warning, no disclaimer, nothing on the website or during the sign-up process. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay for facilities you can’t use. When I asked about alternatives, I was told I could only go to one Red Label location but barely any gyms even have a functioning sauna. I feel misled, and I’m seriously reconsidering my membership. TrainMore should be upfront with members about service disruptions before they join,not after. A wellness-focused gym should know better.

Negatieve ervaring: Teleurstellende ervaring bij een “exclusieve” gym De belofte van TrainMore Red Label Roelof Hartplein was duidelijk: een exclusieve, rustige gym met een gelimiteerd aantal leden. De realiteit is helaas compleet anders. • Overvol en oncomfortabel: De gym is structureel te druk. Kluisjes zijn áltijd vol – de afgelopen weken heb ik er niet één kunnen gebruiken. De kleedkamer is bizar klein voor het aantal leden: schouder aan schouder, geen ruimte om je normaal om te kleden. Zelfs in de gym zelf is er slechts een paar vierkante meter beschikbaar voor rekken op matjes. Er kunnen hier max 2 personen liggen. • Slechte hygiëne: De douches hebben schimmel op het plafond, de kleedkamers zijn vies en vaak rommelig. De sauna ruikt muf en zweterig en wordt slecht onderhouden. De sauna en het dompelbad zijn ook regelmatig kapot. Daarbovenop geldt er een badkledingplicht, wat niet alleen oncomfortabel is, maar ook onhygiënisch volgens sauna-experts: oa: zweet blijft in de stof hangen, wat juist bacteriegroei bevordert. • Personeel niet betrokken: Het aanwezige personeel kijkt vooral op hun telefoon. Er is weinig tot geen actieve betrokkenheid bij het handhaven van orde, hygiëne of sfeer in de gym. Voor een gym die zich presenteert als “premium” is dit ver onder de maat. Zodra mijn abonnement afloopt, ben ik weg. Zonde van het geld én van het vertrouwen.

Fantastische ervaring: Really great gym. I’ve tried gyms all over the city and this is my favorite. Very chill vibe, and enough space that I never waited for a machine or weights. The staff are friendly and helpful. All ages, sizes and genders are working out.

There is good equipment which is all well maintained, no problem getting the equipment that I wanted for a full workout. The saunas and cold bath are very clean and nice. As I am traveling from the states I was able to workout via a day pass and Oscar was extremely helpful and accommodating. The facilities are clean and has all of the equipment you need to get a great workout in. I will definitely be returning during my next visit to Amsterdam.

Fantastische ervaring: Sport al 5 jaar bij verschillende gym’s waaronder trainmore’s maar dit is en blijft mijn favoriet. Er is alles wat je nodig hebt en er hang altijd een goede sfeer. Oscar maakt met zijn service dat het ‘echt’ een red label is, oog voor detail en altijd scherp op de kleine dingen die van groot belang zijn.

Negatieve ervaring: I got a more expensive red label subscription with the promise of a less busy gym as they would allow a limited amount of people to get a membership, but more and more i walk into a gym where all the equipment is in use. I understand its a small gym, but after office hours the gym is overcrowded. And weirdly enough people use the dead lift platform for everything but deadlifts.

Negatieve ervaring: De belofte was groots: een kleine exclusieve gym - het zogenaamde “Red Label” - met een gelimiteerd aantal leden. Het omgekeerde is waar: ze hebben, net als bij vele andere Trainmore’s, veel te veel lidmaatschappen verpatst waardoor het bizar druk is. Hoe druk? De afgelopen maanden heb ik geen kluisje kunnen gebruiken, want alle kluisjes zijn áltijd vol. De kleedkamer is zo druk dat het net een vol bruin café lijkt op een vrijdagavond. Je staat schouder aan schouder, het slaat echt nergens meer op. Er is ook ongeveer 5m2 ruimte in de gym beschikbaar voor stretchen en buikoefeningen op een matje. Dit is drie personen max. Personeel is tot slot vooral aan t kijken op hun eigen telefoon of aan het eten, en houdt zich niet bezig met de gym zelf. Kom op jongens… Zodra mijn abonnement afloopt ben ik weg. Jammer!

Negatieve ervaring: Ik ben al acht maanden een trouwe klant bij trainmore, maar sinds er een nieuwe medewerker is – met vermoedelijk een Indische of Pakistaanse achtergrond – is het beneden één grote chaos geworden. De vloer ligt vol zwarte shit, het ijsbad werkt niet als hij er is, en hij komt totaal ongeinteresseerd over. De zeepdispensers zijn leeg en worden niet aangevuld, de kleedkamers zijn vies, het stinkt er, en het lijkt hem niet te kunnen schelen. Doodzonde

Positieve ervaring: Overcrowded, only 2 treadmills and never available during rush hour, and no space for stretching (only 2 mats fit on the floor at once). No ventilation whatsoever and very humid changing rooms. The machines are great, but quite cramped together. I don’t believe it should be considered a red label club.

Negatieve ervaring: Train More Red Label has potential but fell short of expectations. It’s great to see amenities like two saunas, an infrared option, and a cold tub (though unfortunately, the tub wasn’t working). While there are plenty of machines available, it was disappointing to find many not functioning properly—some were broken, cables were torn, and weights were even rusted. On the bright side, the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. With some maintenance improvements, this place could truly shine.

Negatieve ervaring: Predatory - I signed up and first thing they close the gym for renovations. I cancelled my membership (which was not easy). They charged me an extra month. AND THEN CAME BACK AND CHARGED ME FOR AN ADDITIONAL WEEK. This is just poor management, do you really think that making an additional 30€ is worth more than losing and customer and getting a poor review? It is a greedy company making it hard for people to get out with hidden fees, little contract tweeks and outrages late fees. The staff is the only bright spot.

I thought they would just replace the Great logo with the Trainmore logo and keep it as is which was super nice, airy, bright and spacious, pretty feminine energy but that was fine as there were lots of guys there too. Had a premium luxurious "feel". Really nice community atmosphere. However, it now has this weird cavernous, dystopian student vibe, pretty downscaled, kinda cluttered, signature rope got axed, the running machines got moved from the window, there is way too much machinery, not enough stretch space, it feels dark and crowded and noisy. Then there's things like the automated lockers don't work anymore - you need a padlock - again feels like a downgrade. They axed the steam room. The plunge pool is a nice addition but could have just put it where the jacuzzi is. Personally I don't understand why you would spend evidently a lot of money to make a place look more generic and less pleasant. Must be aiming it at a lower price point gym goer (Great was fairly pricey 85 EUR p/m) but I don't know

Negatieve ervaring: Mijn schoonmoeder van 74 wilde onlangs door lichamelijke klachten weten of haar jaarcontract automatisch zou stoppen. Tot 2x toe werd dit bevestigd door het personeel bij de balie. Vervolgens bleef er abonnementsgeld geïncasseerd worden. Contact krijgen lukte haar niet. Na de 4e x storneren kreeg ze een brief en werd er gedreigd met een deurwaarder. Uit angst heeft ze alles maar betaald. Te erg voor woorden om iemand op leeftijd zo te intimideren terwijl zij naar willens & weten juist heeft gehandeld. SCHANDALIG!

Negatieve ervaring: I was overcharged on my very first day at the gym because the staff didn’t apply an ongoing promotion. I wanted to check if this was corrected in the next billing period, but I can’t access my invoices through the TrainMore app, which has been unreliable since the start. I contacted support, but they still haven’t provided the invoices, as they need to consult with the appropriate department. The gym is well-equipped and clean since the renovation, but the Wi-Fi often fails, and the video training materials frequently freeze mid-session. Occasionally, we can’t even log in to the machines. It’s also disappointing that the steam room was removed, as it was a highlight of this location. In the dressing room and shower area, it would be helpful if the soap dispensers were refilled regularly, especially during peak hours, and if larger towels were available, as the current ones are quite small.

Now it's exactly the same as all the other TrainMore/franchise shops; filled with bad hygiene gym-bro's, questionable service, towels the size of a mini skirt, non stop braindead music and likely soon to be fungus laden locker rooms/spa and equipment. The fact they managed to keep the old high star google reviews from the previous organisation also says a lot about TrainMore and how it operates.. volume>quality To be fair: the place needed some renovating before TrainMore stepped in, but now its just another cash cow for people not really interested in any other quality. Sad to have bought the ice bath bait...

Fantastische ervaring: Nice relaxed place to train with modern equipment and most of what you’d need. Expect a boutique cozy experience however. For me personally, the location was convenient and hence ended up here. It wasn’t busy, early days after reopening, but this might change over time.

Negatieve ervaring: Na de recente verbouwing is de service voor grote handdoeken afgeschaft, wat een gemis is voor de bezoekers van de sauna en het koude bad. Deze service droeg bij aan een zorgeloze ervaring en was voor mij een reden om voor een ‘red label’ abonnement op deze specifieke locatie te kiezen. Het zou zeer gewaardeerd worden als deze service in de toekomst kan worden hersteld om de algehele ervaring van leden te verbeteren

Fantastische ervaring: Really nice gym. Not so big but really quiet so you almost never have to wait for a machine to use it (unlike the bigger gyms in Amsterdam). Sadly the welness is not open yet. But really happy that I took a membership here.

Negatieve ervaring: Started a 12 week programme. Gym is nice. But it has zero value. There ir no spirit nor leadership. You are fully on your own. No personal touch. Super expensive to what you get. Its the first time ever I don’t like a gym and move out. I went to another one in De Pijp. What a difference. And they are still TRYING to charge my bank account.
