TrainMore Amsterdam Oost Black Label is een van de grootste en best uitgeruste sportscholen in Amsterdam, ideaal voor zowel cardio- als krachttraining. De faciliteiten zijn modern, schoon en goed onderhouden, met een breed scala aan Technogym-apparatuur verspreid over drie verdiepingen.
Hier zijn enkele hoogtepunten van onze sportschool:
- Ruime en goed georganiseerde workout gebieden: De workout gebieden zijn ruim en goed ingedeeld, wat het gemakkelijk maakt om tussen de apparaten te bewegen, zelfs tijdens drukke tijden.
- Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel: Het personeel is altijd bereid om te helpen en biedt een welkom gevoel voor alle leden.
- Gratis eiwitshakes: Er zijn gratis eiwitshakes beschikbaar voor leden, hoewel de shake-machine soms defect kan zijn.
- Sauna en andere faciliteiten: De sportschool beschikt ook over een sauna en gelegenheid voor ontspanning na het trainen.
Ondanks de vele positieve aspecten, zijn er enkele punten van zorg die vaak worden genoemd door bezoekers:
- Drukte: De sportschool kan op piekmomenten erg druk zijn, met een tekort aan kluisjes en soms te weinig beschikbare apparaten.
- Onderhoud van apparatuur: Hoewel de meeste apparatuur nieuw en goed onderhouden is, zijn er meldingen van defecte machines en het niet opruimen van gewichten door andere leden.
- Geluid: De muziek kan soms te luid zijn, wat voor sommige leden onaangenaam is.

Negatieve ervaring: TrainMore automatically upgraded my membership to a more expensive plan after it expired, without any notice. They withdrew money from my account without clearly explaining what it was for. Customer service was frustrating, gave contradictory information, and came across as condescending. Be cautious with automatic upgrades and unexpected charges.
Fantastische ervaring: Wow! What an amazing gym! For starters the location and size are perfect, they have thought of everything to make your experience exceptional. The staff were so helpful and made sure I knew how everything worked, especially Ibra! Would recommend 10/10

Fantastische ervaring: The staff here are absolutely amazing – very friendly, welcoming, and willing to help with anything you need. The facilities are also excellent, there are plenty of machines available even during peak hours, which makes workouts so much smoother.
Negatieve ervaring: I was a member at TrainMore Amsterdam Oost in spring 2025 and, at first, I absolutely loved it. The gym itself is great: a large variety of equipment, clean facilities, and a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful during my visits, and overall I really enjoyed training there. However, the way my cancellation was handled has left me extremely disappointed. At the beginning of June (around 3–5 June), following the instructions from the reception staff, I submitted a cancellation request through the official online form. On 7 June 2025 I received confirmation that my membership would officially end on 3 July 2025, in line with the one-month notice period. My June membership fee was fully paid, and I stopped using the gym after 15 June because I relocated from Amsterdam. As requested, I also returned my access tag in mid-June when staff asked all members to hand them back. At no point was I informed about any additional fees or payments after my departure. Despite this, I kept receiving payment reminders, the most recent one for €67.17. I sent multiple written requests through your online form asking for clarification, but no one replied. My husband also tried calling the customer service hotline listed on your website to resolve the matter, but his calls were ignored. Instead of an explanation, I only received repeated reminders and even threats of legal action. This is not the level of service I expected from a gym that otherwise offers such a great training experience. I am now paying this disputed amount solely to avoid further penalties and unclear disputes — not because I agree with it or because the situation has been resolved. I hope that management reads this review carefully. The facilities and atmosphere at TrainMore are excellent, but the way customer issues are handled — especially cancellations — urgently needs improvement.

Fantastische ervaring: Great customer service. Front staff is highly educated on health and safety. The gentleman (Fons) was courteous and polite and of course bias the young lady (Sahara- the desert). Inside joke. The faciltiy has the latest and clean equipment to workout every single muscle of the body. They offer classes to help people do the right workout. It’s also equipped with a lift to help people with disabilities. It’s in the heart of Oost area of Amsterdam. Walkable to make shops. They also have protein shakes for before and after each without.

Fantastische ervaring: Easily my favorite gym in Amsterdam. The vibe is excellent! The whole aesthetic makes you actually wanna train.... Staff are super nice and always down to help. The equipment is Top tier. Whether I’m lifting or doing calisthenics they got it all! Plus they have a section just for recovery which makes it a 5 star for me.

Negatieve ervaring: Veel verschillende machines en mogelijkheden. Dat is het probleem niet. Wat ik wel een issue vind is dat ik €84,70 per maand betaal en dat er te weinig discount wordt toegepast. Ondertussen heb ik op 10 juli en 11 juli een contactformulier en een email hierover heb gestuurd. Op beide geen antwoord gekregen. Chatten is niet mogelijk. Dus eigenlijk ben ik verplicht om mij hiervoor bij de balie van TrainMore oost te melden. Dat is voor mij ruim een halfuur fietsen. Terwijl een telefoontje of mailtje mij hooguit een kwartier zou kosten.
