Fantastische ervaring: Great gym , wide space and variety of equipments .. they have bodybuilding, crossfit , cardio and weightlifting area .. totally worth the visit.. the staff on the reception are so professional , helpful and kind.. they have one day pass and one week pass which is so suitable for me as im only visiting Copenhagen for few days .. will visit again when if I ever came back to Copenhagen … thank you so much for the great service

The coach here was correcting the same issues that my coach back home does. Now I have double confirmation of what I need to work on.

Fantastische ervaring: First time trying CrossFit and I have to admit that the people in this box made it look easy as drinking a glass of water. Extremely friendly coaches, multi cultural environment, packed with amazing people, both coaches and athletes. Main language is English, and this gives a "like home" feeling for people who are not masters in Dutch yet. If you want to exercise, but also feel good while doing so, then Vastberaden is the place to be. I would recommended to everyone

Fantastische ervaring: Strongly recommend if looking for a place to 'Drop In' whilst in Amsterdam. The whole process was easy, with an app and great customer service. Once inside and training, the trainers are attentive and supportive. The programs make sense and focus on different skill sets. Its a little out of the way... but a tram will drop you out the front and its a lovely walk into the centre along the water. I will come back each time i am in the city.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and dedicated to helping you. The members are supportive and encouraging, creating a positive and inclusive environment. No matter your level of fitness. And there's always something new to challenge and motivate you. I highly recommend this crossfit box to anyone looking for a challenging and rewarding experience. It has exceeded my expectations in every way, and I can't wait to continue my fitness journey here!

Fantastische ervaring: Nice vibe, skilled coaches, clean and spacious box with a nice coffee corner + yoga studio in the same building.

Positieve ervaring: I loved the coaches and members here. Dropped in twice while on vacation and the two coaches were fabulous with tips and encouragement. Movements were demo’d and form was clearly important. The members were the most friendly of any box I experienced in Europe / England. My one complaint and why I gave them a 4 star review instead of 5 is that I needed to cancel my 3rd drop-in. I emailed twice after asking the coach about cancelling for the next day. It wasn’t even the refund that was important to me, it was more that it was a high demand class and I wanted to make sure someone could get in if they were waitlisted. I never heard back, not even that it was too late for a refund which was a disappointment.

Fantastische ervaring: After 1,5 year I'm still coming 3/4 times a week. It's hard work, some technique with instruction by good teachers and the workout is done in a group what makes it more social. This makes me coming back.

Fantastische ervaring: I've tried tons of gyms. From the local small shops to the big chains. I've been to a number of CrossFit boxes too. Most are super aggro, and are packed with either fitspo girls that eat a broccoli and chicken breast a day, or meatheads with no neck and more growth hormone pumping through them than anything. But these guys here at Vastberaden are totally different: their focus on form and quality performance is what got my attention. But the coaches are what keep me coming back. They're some of the nicest and most attentive people in sports that I've ever met, and the best part? They care about (and celebrate in) your growth with a tracking journal they call the book of awesome. Love it. Been training almost a year now and I've never been happier with my results, plus the community vibe is second to none. By far the best box I've ever been to. Ten stars!

Os instrutores são profissionais qualificados, muito atentos a sua postura, constantemente corrigindo e dando suporte aos alunos. Os treinos são muitos bem planejados, inclusive no site deles da para saber todos os WOD da semana inteira antecipadamente. Os equipamentos são novos e é tudo limpinho. They have everything you need and after a shower I had coffee and a lovely chat with some members. What a beautiful box, thank you very much!

Fantastische ervaring: Recently i followed 3 personal coaching sessions at Vastberaden to improve my snatch technique. I learned a lot from it! I cannot say my snachtes are perfect now, but coach Vincent and Marco told me the exact basics and now it’s up to me to keep moving forward. They both have there own ways to explain it and that worked really well for me. They are very patience and good in feeling what you need (verbal cues, demonstration, etc.). If you have any doubts, don’t! Aproach them and book your spot! I’m sure it will help you improving your technique a lot!

Fantastische ervaring: Visited this box three times while holidaying in Amsterdam for a week. Such a great box: we had some great workouts and the coaches and participants are so friendly. It had all the facilities you could possibly need, including a delightful cafe outside (I recommend the brownies). My only regret is that we didn't realise until the last day that there is a yoga studio on site, and that my legs are now in bits!

Fantastische ervaring: I've tried three different Crossfit gyms over the past 4 years in Amsterdam, and this one is by far my favourite. CrossFit Vastberaden has a community feel like no other, where the coaches really go the extra mile to keep you engaged, even in the darkest days of Lockdown. The WODs are tough, but the attention to detail and care is excellent. I'm writing this review today in particular, because despite my perhaps over ambition, my coach's priority was my safety and he gave me the attention I needed to practice safely while still giving me the burn I came for. It's not for nothing that i've experienced the least number of injuries despite the harder WODs at this gym. Long story short, a great gym with great people and great workouts.

The coaches are highly motivated to come up with the most effective WOD (Workout of the day) to help each one of the trainees to achieve their individual targets. Frequent workshops to improve the techniques makes it even more effective and fun. Great place to be if you want to be part of quality workout sessions. Fantastische ervaring: Fantastic programming with a friendly and welcoming community and one of the most organised and cleanest boxes I’ve ever visited. You can tell from their website this box has it together but you don’t realise the full extent until you walk past their great coffee shop and into the warehouse style, large box on the top floor surrounded by windows. Vincent and Marco both coached while I trained there for the week and both were great coaches, attentive with everyone, giving great pointers and encouragement. My highlight was the programming as it had a great mix and being open on a Sunday to choose your ‘catch up’ workout for the week was a bonus. Highly recommend for all level crossfitters and I’ll be back to train there next time I’m in Amsterdam.

Fantastische ervaring: CrossFit Vastberaden heeft mijn passie voor sporten weer aangewakkerd. Buiten een uiterst professionele sportschool is het een plek waar ik me helemaal op mijn plek voel. De coaches doen er alles aan om het maximale uit je te halen en buiten dat zijn ze oprecht geïnteresseerd in hoe het met je gaat en wat je in je privéleven doet. Buiten dat verzorgt Vastberaden sociale activiteiten met de mede CrossFitters, en die zijn altijd leuk! Daarbij is het ook nog eens een dikke bonus dat Café Barmhartig een fijne plek is om te zijn en dat je bij Heldhaftig Yoga kan herstellen van die intensieve inspanning bij de CrossFit. Ik voel me bij Vastberaden echt thuis!

Fantastische ervaring: My girlfriend and I went for a drop-in as we visited Amsterdam and we can only say that this box is on the verge of perfection! The gym is spacious and clean, plus there is a nice view of the surroundings. The people are friendly and welcoming and the coaching is great! Before or after the gym, take some time to enjoy a drink at the café. Seriously, the concept of café + gym at the same place is amazing! Thank you again! We definitely recommend for anyone!

I have dropped in to many Crossfit gyms and this one is one of my favorites! This made out Amsterdam trip especially enjoyable. They also have a really good coffee shop.

Positieve ervaring: Great place, attentive coaches, I love that they have light big plates of 2.5kg so that you can have the right barbell set up even with light weights. One thing missing is that there is no open gym, so you cannot really work on your weaknesses outside of the WOD.

I was in Amsterdam for a few days visiting from Philadelphia, and this gym was super easy to get to - a short tram ride, great hours, and a breathtaking view of the canal! Seriously, the location is GORGEOUS and a great way to start the day. The coaches were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the members were welcoming and encouraging. It felt like a home away from home! The workouts were challenging but scalable, and the warmup/cool down programming was well though out and appreciated. I’ve dropped in to tons of Crossfit gyms, especially in the States, in the past 6 years, and this is my favorite! Highly highly recommend!! Thank you Crossfit Vastberaden!!

Fantastische ervaring: I am from the states, Chicago, and had a drop in class here. The box was clean and organized, the coach was great. I am somewhat new to crossfit, 3 months but the WOD was scaled appropriately for everyone in class and the coach was able to give everyone one on one advice and coaching. Space had great natural light and is on a third floor in a building overlooking the water. Quite beautiful. Well worth the 20€ drop in fee to get a great work out in on vacation.

Fantastische ervaring: What I love about this gym is that everybody truly is equal here. The really experienced crossfitters and the beginners (like myself) interact just the same. This makes the threshold to come to the gym practically vanish. It’s a gym where you can make friends AND push each other to cross your personal limits. I can’t see myself quitting at this gym. Great teachers, great atmosphere, great equipment; clean and quality. If you’re thinking of coming, definitely do.

Fantastische ervaring: I have been going to CrossFit Vastberaden for the past two months and I couldn't be happier. At first I was a bit hesitant about joining crossfit given a series of pre-existing injuries. However, the moment I stepped in at CrossFit Vastberaden all my fears vanished. The coaches are really good making sure that posture, position and movement one executes are correct before you start and while you work. They check on your progression so that you can improve quickly and mostly that you enjoy yourself. I've been to many gyms and this is definitely the place with the highest attention to details I have encountered. Finally, one more positive is that the team is really friendly (on top of their competence) and they organise some lovely events here and there to give a top experience. And that's what i'm experiencing.

Fantastische ervaring: Excellent CrossFit box. Great team of coaches who inspire and motivate you, pay attention to your technique and in the meantime maintain the fun factor of working out. I am working out here for more than a year now and am enjoying the atmosphere every single time. The location itself is brand new with more than enough equipment, comfortable dressing rooms and offers a great view on the waterside. Recently a yoga studio has been added to the box which offers a nice combination with CrossFit.

Fantastische ervaring: I had an excellent drop in while visiting Amsterdam for a few days on vacation. Xavier coached the class through a demanding work out and gave me some much-needed tips on my form. It's a fantastic warehouse space along the river with plenty of room, including high ceilings for rope climbs. And a cafe in the entryway for calories and caffeine on the way out.
