Positieve ervaring: I thought I wasn't a group workout person but I absolutely loved the Zumba session with Farah on Sundays. It's not just a workout. Her music selection, how caring and funny she is.. She keeps it fun and helps me connect with my own body. I highly recommend! One separate remark on DL, please provide shampoo at the showers.

Positieve ervaring: Great club! Seems a bit busy on peak hours but still better than the rest of clubs. Also shout out to Peter as he was great explaining the facilities!

Fantastische ervaring: I'm so happy I joined the club. Got my first meeting with Tamara which made everything look easy, she was so nice!! Probably the bigger reason I joined the club! She made me feel like I could trust the team and she was right. Today I had an incredible personal training with Yanqin Wang! She is super professional and gives so much tips on how to do the exercises in a safe way. Not only expertise but her way of explaining why and some background about the exercises so you can really understand what you're doing! Im really happy with her and Thimo assistance! Would recommend fully. Feeling this support is motivating and so good on a gym environment, specially when you're new! :) thank you! ❤️

Fantastische ervaring: Yanqin Wang Pilates : I recently started taking Pilates classes, and I have to say, my teacher has made the experience absolutely amazing! Her classes are very beginner-friendly and she creates such a positive, encouraging environment. As someone new to Pilates, I was a bit nervous at first, but her enthusiasm and clear guidance made me feel completely comfortable. Because of her, I’ve actually developed a real interest and love for Pilates. Highly recommend her classes to anyone looking to start or get back into fitness!

Negatieve ervaring: Ik ben overgestapt naar een andere sportschool omdat mijn ervaring bij David Lloyd Eindhoven niet voldeed. Het management, met name Tamara, wekte de indruk dat ze om je gaven, maar in de praktijk voelde dat totaal niet zo. De sfeer was onprettig en er werd weinig gedaan om klachten serieus op te lossen. Bovendien waren de handdoeken vaak vies en lagen ze regelmatig op de grond, wat echt onhygiënisch was. Ik ben zelf een keer besmet geraakt door het gebruik van een handdoek daar. Het voelde gewoon niet fris. Kortom, als je een prettige, professionele en hygiënische sportomgeving zoekt, zou ik elders kijken.”

Negatieve ervaring: Reference No: 3109664 One & only replied received- 15 Sep 2025 Absolutely unacceptable service from David Lloyd. I have tried every possible way to get an answer about my membership cancellation and have been completely ignored. First mail sent more than 15 days ago. Two emails sent – no reply. App query submitted – no reply. I even visited the gym in person. The staff member at reception seemed uninterested, avoided my questions, and only wrote down my reference number, saying it would be passed to the concerned person. It has now been two days, and I’ve heard nothing back. My question is simple: I applied for cancellation in September as per the calendar month policy. Why should I be charged for November as well? Instead of a clear answer, I’ve been met with silence and ignorance. What makes it worse is that I have now read the last review and talked with former members experiencing the same issue with cancellations and zero communication. This feels less like poor service I hope this review finally gets someone at David Lloyd to respond, because being ignored through emails, app queries, and even in person is unacceptable. I expect a clear answer about my cancellation and charges without any further delay.

Fantastische ervaring: Super leuke sportschool ben er bijna elke dag! Medewerkers zijn ook top en super vriendelijk met name Kyenna achter de receptie.

Fantastische ervaring: Ben nu bijna een jaar lid bij deze club en kan niets anders zeggen dat alles top geregeld is zeker door Mark Alberts die op een leuke manier met de sporters omgaat ook als iets niet goed gaat..Alles is keurig schoon en de lessen zijn top.

Negatieve ervaring: Extremely disappointing experience, particularly in a country like the Netherlands where transparency, fairness, and trust are supposed to be fundamental values. I exercised my legal right to cancel a membership within the EU 14-day withdrawal period — in full accordance with consumer law — and submitted the cancellation both in writing and in person. The staff confirmed everything was in order. However, no written confirmation was ever sent, and months later I am still waiting for a refund. Worse, I keep receiving emails claiming I owe money, despite the cancellation being valid and timely. All of my emails have gone unanswered. No copy of the contract was ever provided — not by email, not by link, not on paper. This is not just bad service; this is completely contrary to the trust-based culture Dutch consumers expect — and deserve. I would strongly advise anyone considering a membership here to think twice and document everything. What happened to me should not happen to anyone else.

I sent emails to the same people that were inviting me to join, but they just stop replying to me. I am asking about a solutiona and I am being IGNORED!!! BE CAREFULL with this club. I feel like I was scammed!!!!!

Positieve ervaring: Great joining experience, we were well informed and warmly welcomed. Peter really does an effort to build a relationship with the customers and thinks along in their benefit. The facilities are great and there is always cleaning ongoing so it feels and smells fresh. The personal training session kickoff was a bit different than expected less workout more explaining, but that may get compensated. It’s quite pricey but it’s definitely also the luxury you’d expect from it, including fresh towels and customer satisfaction.

Thanks to Yanqin, my super patient and gentle instructor who made me feel totally at ease. Perfect for beginners! You can tell they really care about the clients. A fantastic representative of the gym and a big reason I’d recommend this place to others!

Negatieve ervaring: I'm a new member, and noticed that coaches have a tendency of quiting earlier than schedule. My boyfriend had first free private train for 45min. It was done in 10min after a body scan. And the coach was gone, saying next session will make some plan. I have group lesson for 30min schedules. Coach was late for 10min, and it was done in 10min, don't understand why I need to book ahead for this kind of thing

Fantastische ervaring: Great swimming classes with teacher Shirin! We are visiting the club for more than 3 years and my daughter was going the swim classes since that time. But this year we had a new teacher Shirin, and I really see a big progress in swimming. As for fitness club itself, it has a great facilities - swim pool, sauna, gym and group classes. Though not an easy to sign into the group classes, they are usually full. As for the overall management and communication process - I would say it is an area for the improvement in the club..

On one occasion, I overheard the area manager, Lion, making negative remarks about migrants and Muslims while I was standing there. I strongly disagree with such comments — we are all human and deserve respect. This made me feel very uncomfortable, and as a result, I decided to leave the club and never returned.

Ben blij dat ik hier de kinderen heen kan brengen en ik lekker even kan gaan sporten. Daarbij bieden ze tal van leuke lessen en workshops aan voor de kinderen. Ook leuke speelhoek met speeltoestel.

Fantastische ervaring: Hele fijne en grote sportschool met alles wat je maar zou willen. Binnen en buiten tennis, squash, tafeltennis, hindernisbaan en natuurlijk ook een fitness ruimte met alle apparaten die je nodig hebt voor een goede workout. Daarnaast is er ook een zwembad om na het sporten lekker af te koelen en een sauna om nog even te relaxen. In het restaurant vindt je naast heerlijke proteïne shakes ook lekkere broodjes en salades

Fantastische ervaring: This is mainly a review for the swimming program for kids. This year we were looking into swim lessons for my daughter and had a rough time with the wait lists at other locations as well as the strict schedules. One of my co-workers suggested looking into David Lloyd and i'm quite glad we did. My daughter was always intimidated by the water, but within 4 months things have changed significantly. She has a lot of confidence after going through the Swim Stars level 1 program. She went from being dependent on lots of swimming assist (floaties, etc) to needing none. She loves to swim now and asks frequently to go. Shirin runs the class with my daughter and has done a great job with her - she knows when and how to push for learning and when to let the children figure things out on their own. Shirin also helped quite a bit, letting me know what areas to focus on outside the lesson-time if we had the chance. The smaller class sizes for learning and personalized touches also helped a lot. I think, combined with the flexibility of the program overall, it was absolutely the right decision to sign with David Lloyd to get into their swimming program for my daughter. An added benefit is that I'm now active at the gym, and it's a quality location with lots of amenities.

Fantastische ervaring: Great gym, good staff, great cafeteria. Nice tennis courts en a great pool and Sauna to finish it off. Added bonus is that all classes are in English, so perfect for people from abroad, which is hard to find in this area

Negatieve ervaring: Ben al een tijd lang bij deze sportclub, vraag me wel af hoelang de leden dit nog leuk blijven vinden. Vraag me ook af of er ook nog een leden stop is ingevoerd, het wordt als maar drukker savonds een ramp ben al weken bezig om een binnenbaan te huren geen kans ja voor 17.00 uur en na 21.00 uur En het wordt als maar duurder als je gaat fitnessen sta je in de rij kom op zeg moet niet gekker worden. Blijkt maar door het, als maar duurder te maken er toch nog nieuwe leden komen,dus ga gewoon op deze voet verder. Zal er nog meer geklaagd worden.
