Negatieve ervaring: I have been going to this gym for a while, and the quality, which was already mild from the start, has been declining rapidly. Last year, the gym was upgraded to a red label, and all members were assured via email that membership prices would not increase. However, prices were raised not long after anyway. Additionally, the AC was out of order for nearly a year, making summer workouts unbearable—if not outright unhealthy. The most frustrating issue now is that Trainmore keeps adding new members to the point where it is no longer reasonable, even though the "Red Label" is supposed to have a limited number of members (as literally stated on their website). Try visiting between 5-7 PM on any given day, and you’ll find every single machine occupied, which I have never seen before. Furthermore, after the last rearrangement of the machines, there is no room for stretching or warming up, and people are scattered across the floor, trying to find space to exercise. As for customer service—there's no point in even mentioning it, as it is practically nonexistent and impossible to reach.

Negatieve ervaring: Ik had een vraag over een incorrect openstaande saldo. Na een week nog geen reactie en op de tweede mail ook niet. Vervolgens probeer ik het via de livechat. De collega zegt het door te sturen naar de afdeling en dat dit met ‘prioriteit’ opgepakt zal worden. Niet dus… Na een week nog geen reactie. Ik mail Trainmore nogmaals. Uiteindelijk reageren ze met: ‘Ik hoorde dat er wat vraagtekens zijn’. Terwijl ik heel duidelijk heb verteld wat er aan de hand is. Te belachelijk voor woorden. Ik overweeg om hier weg te gaan. Ook al is de sportschool wel fijn.

Positieve ervaring: I recently joined this gym. It's a good vibe and people are friendly (from what I have seen so far). It's fun, it's small but it has most things. I can only give three stars at the moment ... a really big minus for me personally is the inconsistency of the showers working. Some days they are cold, some days they don't work at all. Quite hard to plan around that! I think quite a few people would appreciate if they worked (or offer a different type of compensation for this red label club specifically). When I signed the contract no one told us anything about this issue. Either way, keep up the good work!

Fantastische ervaring: This is one of my favorite TrainMore locations. It has exactly what I need for a good workout, not too overcrowded, really friendly staff and it is usually very clean. I like it and use it a few times a week! It also has a good area for stretching.

Negatieve ervaring: the place used to be nice, now it s a “red label “, or a way to charge more for a worse service overall. Further to the “renovation “ the place lay out is terrible, it is now cramped, more packed, broken machines, … it has nothing to justify a “red label” aside from giving you a towel. Cherry on top it s been getting dirtier (dust, cob webs, hair) and more humid (literally dripping condensation on you) - plainly avoid it.

Negatieve ervaring: I signed up for a one year membership at Trainmore. When the year ended I assumed my membership would end. It did not. I paid €395 for five months of gym membership while I never even used the gym. They know I didn't use it because they keep track of who tags in. I'm sure it said somewhere in the small print that the membership would continue after a year although they should admit that if they advertise something as a one year membership the assumption is that it will end after one year and not continue until cancelled so I think they should have made that clearer. The one star is for the nice lady at reception hearing me out, recommending me to email Trainmore to see if I could get some sort of compensation for my honest mistake that they benefitted from and even emailing them herself. It also disappointing that after 5 months paying without using the gym there was no attempt made at contacting me to see if I was aware I was still paying membership. I was not demanding all of my money back. I would have been glad to have got a free month or a quarter of the money back or something along those lines but there was nothing. I didn't even get a response to my email. They could have shown just a bit of empathy but they didn't even though I paid membership for a total of seventeen months. Edit: After Trainmore replied to this review I contacted their customer support and talked to a man named David. He told me I was entitled to no compensation whatsoever.

Negatieve ervaring: Me inscrevi nessa academia há 3 meses e ando bem descontente com os chuveiros. Tanto essa unidade como a da Koninginneweg encontro sempre chuveiros desrregulados e gelados com a água direto dos canos. Um serviço que seria para ser conveniente, acaba se tornando um transtorno no planejamento do dia. Estive na unidade da Singel na Thursday e encontrei chuveiro quente e com o sensor regulando perfeitamente. Uma pena ser longe da minha casa, senão só iria naquela unidade. Na Monday, estávamos eu e uma outra moça tomando banho e nós duas tivemos que esperar entre 5 e 10 minutos a água voltar (voltou gelada) para terminarmos nossos respectivos banhos. Foi humilhante.

Negatieve ervaring: Die blonde achter de balie is geen menselijk persoon, ipv mij te helpen om de club binnen te komen ( ik train daar al 3 jaar ) blijft ze star aan het beleid, zo iemand wil je toch niet bij een mensenbedrijf aan het werk hebben. Ik ben naar een andere train more gym gegaan, en daar ben ik wel geholpen met mij incheck probleem. Gelukkig zijn er nog wel menselijke mensen aan het werk bij train more, anders had ik me abonnement zo opgezegd.

Fantastische ervaring: Ik vind het onterecht dat de score zo laag is en de reviews zo slecht zijn. Als optimistische sporter ben ik erg tevreden over deze gym. De locatie is zo goed dat je eigenlijk niet kan verwachten dat het goedkoper of groter is. Soms dan ga ik midden op de dag sporten en zijn er maar 4-5 mensen. Ja, je moet niet om 18:00-19:00 gaan verwachten dat je een prive-gym binnenstapt. En dan nog vind ik het op piekmomenten prima te doen. Je betaald voor de locatie en de verzorgde uitstraling. Het is gewoon een premium gym. Mensen die het gaan vergelijken met basic-fit etc. zijn niet goed.

Negatieve ervaring: TrainMore / Pay More: the membership fee increased by more than 30% in the past 2 years while the discount per visit remained at 1 EUR. In my case, this means around 50% net increase! The new staff at the reception could be more customer friendly (blond guy who was the "host" on Friday 13th September till 2pm). He did not even make an effort to provide a towel, I had to take it behind the counter. He is permanently on his private mobile. No greetings when one member enters or leaves the gym. Absolutely not what you expect from a host for a Red Label gym. Changing room is extremely small, does not fit more that 3-4 persons.

Negatieve ervaring: Prima gym maar niet als je uitgaat van een Red Label. Tips aan de filiaalmanager: - Als iemand nieuw is en de douche geeft alleen ijskoud water(!) omdat het defect is, laat de receptioniste dat van tevoren even doorgeven. - Als beide douches niet (goed) werken hang een defect notificatie in beide douchecabines, niet slechts één. - Wacht niet dagen/weken(?) met het repareren van beide defecte douches. - Zorg ervoor dat er op zijn minst iets van handzeep/douchegel/shampoo aanwezig is in de (mannen) kleedkamers en verwijder lege, half afgebroken douchegel-flessen. - Zet een bel o.i.d. neer bij de ingang voor het geval de medewerkster (langdurig) nergens te bekennen is/achter staat. - Kleffe gedoe en intieme relaties tussen de receptioniste en leden zorgt voor een ongemakkelijke sfeer. - Laat niemand anders dan de medewerker de zorg over je klanten afdwingen (dat is niet het werk van de vriend van de medewerkster) Persoonlijk zou ik verder de sobere halvormige en plafondloze kleedkamer herzien en er meer aandacht aan besteden. Verder prima ruime gym met veel toestellen.

Negatieve ervaring: Airco werkt al jaren niet boven. Zomer 2022 was het 40 graden in Nederland, en boven in deze gym kon er makkelijk iemand om het leven komen van de hitte. Nu 2 jaar later nog steeds bloedheet boven. Een airco monteur is echt niet zo duur, zeker niet voor zo een groot bedrijf. Schaam je!!

Negatieve ervaring: This used to be my favourite gym but after ‘renovations’ it’s deteriorated rapidly. Extremely cramped, bright lights all over, unclean. Was told the gym is changed to red label, a new thrilling community by the urban gym group (owners). Seems just an excuse to get more money for a more expensive subscription while offering nothing in return. Community seems to just mean making more money with a formula that was stale from the start.

Negatieve ervaring: Hoe absurd!! Bij de Koninginneweg kun je niet maar normaal trainen vanwege de drukte, ben je hier niet meer welkom omdat het een Red Label is. Waar kun je dan nog wel in de buurt trainen?! Dat hele concept van zakkenvullen begint nu wel heel vermoeiend te worden.

Negatieve ervaring: Ik was altijd lid van TrainMore en sportte met veel plezier bij de locatie Amstelveenseweg, maar nu is dit ineens veranderd in een Red Label. Hierdoor zijn de kosten voor mijn abonnement nu zeker €35 duurder per 4 weken (en dit is dan zelfs nog met 20 procent korting, anders was het nog duurder). Dit is niet ruim van tevoren aangekondigd; ik ontving pas op 28 mei een mail dat ik vanaf 3 juni niet meer deze sportschool in kom met mijn huidige abonnement. Ze kunnen dit echt niet maken. Ik begrijp dat alles duurder wordt, maar nu wordt er van een normale TrainMore ineens een Red Label gemaakt. Het enige wat ik extra krijg voor dit geld is handdoekenservice en gratis koffie/thee. Echt onacceptabel.

Negatieve ervaring: WATCH OUT!! As always they are not transparent about the service conditions. They turned on Red Label and they sent a first email where they explain the changes with the following sentence about the membership: "Your membership will stay the same, but you'll get so much MORE." After two weeks, they sent another email where they increase the price: "Your membership fee will be increased by €8 to €77.35". Stay away from this company!!

Fantastische ervaring: One of the best gyms I have ever worked out at in my life. Coming from the gym culture in america where the gym culture is massive I was not expectimg such an amazing work out experience. The staff sooo nice and I felt so at home while being at such a modern and technologically savy gym. Also their locker system was so nice and my stuff felt so safe I was not even worried about it.

Negatieve ervaring: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE, EMPLOYEES AND MANAGERS COMPLETELY UNPREPARED. I would like to express my deep disappointment with the experience I recently had at your gym. At the appointed day and time, I arrived to use the facility, having made a reservation through Class Pass. However, I was received in an extremely disrespectful manner by the receptionist. She informed me that I could not use the gym, claiming that Class Pass users were no longer allowed to access the facility at that time, even though my reservation was made and my credits had already been deducted for this purpose. After showing the reservation in the app, the receptionist still refused to check the system to confirm my reservation, insisting that I could not use the facility and asking me to check my email, which clearly made no sense. Even after explaining that the reservation was correctly made and that she should confirm my presence in the system, the receptionist only agreed to let me in that time, stating that it would not be possible to use the service in the future. This situation was extremely embarrassing and infuriating. Moreover, this is not the first time I have faced similar problems at your gym, which indicates a pattern of unpreparedness on the part of the staff in dealing with simple issues like this. Therefore, I do not recommend this establishment to other users, as the lack of skill of the staff in resolving problems and the propensity to embarrass the customer are unacceptable in any service environment.
Hi Jésica, I am sorry to hear about your experience, this is of course not a way we want members to feel at our clubs. It is indeed not possible anymore for members of class pass to enter TrainMore Amstelveenseweg. The reason for this is that it is a red label club. Which has limited access, that access is only reserved for members of the club. We have made sure to inform class pass about this in advance. I see that you have been informed about this per mail as well. Negatieve ervaring: There used to be a nice (foreign) girl working at TrainMore Amstelveenseweg but she left and now the new girl (blond; don’t know her name) is not helpful and not knowledgeable at all. Any question you ask her is answered with “I am not sure”. Please can we get the foreign girl back?!!

Positieve ervaring: TrainMore blijft één van de beste gyms die er in Nederland zijn. Veel free weight en met de beste line van Technogym. Pluspunten van de Amstelveenseweg:: - zeer betrokken en hulpvaardig personeel; - wordt ook consequent schoongemaakt; Verbeterpunten: - espresso/koffie apparaat, zet er één neer! - hydrationpoint, zet er één neer!
Negatieve ervaring: I had an incredibly frustrating experience with TrainMore that I feel compelled to share. The lack of responsiveness from their staff, broken gym storage facilities, substandard equipment, and rude staff members have left me greatly disappointed. First and foremost, their customer service is abysmal. Despite multiple attempts to contact their staff via email, I received no response whatsoever. It is incredibly disheartening when a company fails to acknowledge and address customer concerns. Their unresponsiveness reflects a lack of professionalism and a disregard for their customers' needs. Furthermore, the gym storage facilities were in terrible condition. Many of the lockers were broken, making it difficult to securely store personal belongings during workouts. This not only compromised the safety of our belongings but also added unnecessary stress and inconvenience to our gym experience. The quality of the equipment provided by TrainMore is also subpar. I encountered numerous instances where machines were faulty or in poor condition. This not only hindered the effectiveness of my workouts but also raised concerns about the maintenance and overall safety of their equipment. Lastly, the demeanor of the staff members was consistently rude and unhelpful. Any attempt to approach them for assistance was met with dismissive attitudes and unprofessional behavior. It is deeply disappointing to be treated with such disrespect and disregard as a paying customer. In conclusion, TrainMore's lack of responsiveness, broken storage facilities, inferior equipment, and rude staff members have made my experience with them highly unsatisfactory. I strongly caution anyone considering TrainMore as their fitness provider to think twice. The level of customer service and facility maintenance provided falls far short of acceptable standards. If you do decide to reach out to TrainMore, I wish you the best of luck in receiving a response. Based on my experience, their track record in promptly addressing customer concerns is far from commendable. FYI "Urban Gym Group" which owns trainmore, have their employees hidden on linkedin I let you guess why! ;-)

Negatieve ervaring: Watch Out!!!! I strongly advise caution before subscribing to this gym or any urban gym group Gym as my experience has been highly regrettable. They charge a steep monthly fee of 69 EURO/month, despite other gyms offering more amenities such as drinks and sauna at a lower cost. In my opinion, this gym is the worst I have encountered. ( Had an offer from Sport cities for 22 EURO/month which way bigger clear etc ) The overall cleanliness of the gym is bad, with some machines not functioning properly and several lockers in a state of you can use them. Additionally, the gym lacks a sufficient variety of machines, making it feel small and limited in terms of workout options. One major concern is the limited availability of staff. After 10 am, there is no assistance provided, leaving customers vulnerable in case of accidents or emergencies. The customer service is absolutely appalling. They do not respond to emails, nor do they provide any contact information such as phone numbers or addresses. Even their LinkedIn profiles are hidden! Why would hide your employees? The gym's mobile app is practically useless. It fails to function properly, and attempting to install it is not worth the hassle. The 1 euro discount counter does not work, forcing users to manually track their expenses through Excel sheets. Furthermore, invoices are not displayed within the app, leaving customers in the dark about their payment obligations unless the amount is directly debited from their bank accounts. The app only serves the purpose of displaying your name, which is highly disappointing. It is worth noting that they changed their prices after I signed up. However, according to their terms and conditions, customers have a four-week window to cancel their membership following any price changes. Should you attempt to cancel, they will abruptly terminate your contract and send you their debt collectors friend ;-) without providing an invoice or allowing the customary two-week period for payment. This results in additional charges of 80 euro plus 0.11 euro in interest. Lastly, their responses to reviews are generic and copied and pasted, lacking any genuine concern or individualized attention. Furthermore, I noticed that positive five-star reviews receive no thumbs-up, while negative one-star reviews receive at least 5-10 thumbs-up?! In conclusion, my experience with this gym has been deeply unsatisfactory. With hidden charges, poor customer service, and questionable practices, I strongly urge potential customers to reconsider joining. Your fitness journey deserves a gym that prioritizes cleanliness, transparency, and you as customer not a gym that makes more money if you don't train!

Fantastische ervaring: Ik ben echt super blij met TrainMore Amstelveenseweg! De sportschool heeft alles wat ik nodig heb: moderne apparatuur, schone faciliteiten en een gezellige sfeer. Het personeel is altijd vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Bovendien is de manager hier echt geweldig! haar toewijding en positieve instelling maken de ervaring compleet. Ik voel me echt gemotiveerd om hier te trainen, en het is ook nog eens betaalbaar. Ik raad het zeker aan aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een geweldige sportschool.
Positieve ervaring: It's a gym with an industrial vibe to it, gorgeous building. During the week open until 0:00 rather then 23:00 is a warm welcome. Techno Gym equipment isn't my favourite but you definitely can get a proper workout done. One negative note: half an hour exactly before closing time, the guy that worked there. A blonde fellow, decided to turn off the music. We all got jobs and that's not how you treat your customers, just because you want to go home.

Negatieve ervaring: I was threatened by the employee at this location today on the street after being followed outside when leaving. I will be filing a police report about the incident. I would avoid coming here at all costs if you are someone who values personal safety.
Fantastische ervaring: I recently joined the Trainmore, and I must say, the experience has been nothing short of fantastic. The equipment is all you need, and the facility is always clean and well-maintained. However, what truly sets this gym apart is the exceptional management, particularly the lady manager. Just last week, I witnessed an incident where two gym-goers had an argument. It could have easily escalated, but the manager, with her commendable leadership skills, handled the situation with such professionalism and tact. She listened to both parties with patience and understanding, and resolved the matter amicably, ensuring that the gym's positive and respectful environment was maintained.

Fantastische ervaring: Do-it-yourself gym. Er is alleen op specifieke uren personeel aanwezig, ik zelf vind dit fijn want de gym trekt over het algemeen dus klanten aan die weten wat ze doen en daadwerkelijk komen trainen en geen theekransjes komen houden . Ventilatie is een verbeterpuntje maar verder een fijne gym.

Negatieve ervaring: When 1 bad apple ruins the whole lot. I find this gym very sufficient for people that want to come in, get a workout done and leave. But imagine overhearing incident about staff harassing members to put weights back on the rack I understand all members should have the decency to put equipment back, but damn, didn't realize some staff take this to a whole new level. :-(

Negatieve ervaring: Worts place! The gym is not good, smells quite bad (sweat)/ bad ventilation, lockers most broken and they aren’t clear about the contract. Staff is almost never there, took me 3 days to find someone to clarify some questions (I went there following the website info of when a staff member should be there - no one was there). Now, they did a debit in my bank account without my authorization. Client service doesn’t work, contact is almost impossible, not clear and takes centuries to reply… i know it’s cheap, but if you can, go to another gym (different brand)!

This gym used to have friendly staff, now it’s filled with people that seem to hate their job and can’t help at all (or don’t even want to). The gym used to be open 24/7 - 2 months ago, they blamed “energy prices” and it closes at 23:00 instead (staff told me this won’t ever go back to normal). You would think they would drop prices after this - no, it now costs 5€ more per month. Also worth to mention the air conditioning does not work in summer. Don’t ever sign up for Trainmore Amstelveenseweg. You have TrainMore Singel, for example, at the same price. Better location, 3x bigger, sauna, free protein shakes and more than 2 showers (this is ridiculous).

Negatieve ervaring: Wouldn’t recommend this trainmore, it’s super tiny, everything feels cramped, machines are placed randomly, only one machine of each type. There is almost never any staff (only at certain hours) so it’s messy all the time, no water / coffee station, no sauna, no classes. It gets hot inside. Most of all, it doesn’t have a nice vibe like in other trainmore gyms. Some things seem to be easy to fix but are not…

Fantastische ervaring: That’s my favorite gym, the design is beautiful (as it is in all TrainMore clubs), people going there are nice. I feel like it’s my second home! Going every day and having my gym buddies over there. If you love gym and go a lot, then you wont pay that much with the 1€ discount. Reading all the complaints I feel like we are not talking about the same place really

Negatieve ervaring: Ranzigste gym waar ik ooit ben geweest. Wordt nooit schoongemaakt. Daarnaast is er 0 ventilatie. Ramen zijn constant beslagen en binnen 20 minuten krijg je het benauwd. Zoek verder als je een gym zoekt want deze is slecht
